Types of Events:

Retreats, teacher visits, special events, conferences, & classes lasting 45 days or less.

Featured Events:

Featured Events are those events to which Member Groups want to call special attention. They scroll in the slideshow on the home page. The events scroll in chronological order, based on the start date of the event. The cost of featuring an event on the front page of the calendar is $25 per event. In order to post a featured event, you will need to make a payment at the time you submit the event.  You can do that here. Important Information about how Submitting an Event Works:

Once you have entered an event, it has to be approved by NWDA before it actually appears on the calendar. Please allow five days for this, although it will generally happen sooner.
 
Events display best in the calendar if they have an accompanying image. It is very easy to upload these when you submit or edit an event. Simple graphic images are best; i.e., a picture or image. These need to be in standard graphic formats, such as jpg, jpeg, or png. Flyers do not reproduce well.
