Give to NW Dharma’s Fall Pledge Drive: We Can’t Do This Without You
Written by: Koro Kaisan Miles
As you read the Northwest Dharma News, do you stop to think how it is produced? By whom? With what resources?
When you look at the NWDA website to see the Member Group information or to view the upcoming regional events in the Calendar, do you think about who maintains it and how?
If you attend the Annual Gathering, the Teachers Meeting, or other NWDA sponsored and co-sponsored events, do you think about how the events are put together? What expenses might be involved?
To accomplish all these things, it costs approximately $30,000/year, less than $3,000/month to do everything that we do. We count on donations from you to meet our budget needs. The board and staff have made their pledges and we hope you will as well.
Please give to this year’s Fall Pledge Drive. The best way to do this is to make a recurring pledge of any amount from $5 to $500 per month. The value of the gift is in the giving, so whatever is appropriate to your level of wealth is greatly appreciated. If you cannot commit to an ongoing gift, please consider making a generous one-time donation.
Just go here to make a secure gift by credit card online or send a check to NWDA, 305 Harrison, Seattle WA 98109.
Your company or organization may have a gifting or matching gifts program. Several of our regular donors increase their gifts this way.
It’s so easy to give and your gift can do so much. It is another way of expressing your commitment to the ideals of the Buddhist life.
If you are already a regular donor to NWDA, thank you so much for your support.
