Two statues seek Burmese home

A friend in Oregon sent the Association this message:

“My wife imported and collected art from Southeast Asia for many years. Two of her most treasured pieces were statues of Buddhist monks. The pieces are old. They originated in Myanmar and she bought them in Thailand in the early 90s. One of them is probably marble I believe. Two of them, a matched pair are lacquered wood. She died in October 2023 and I would like to return the pieces to an appropriate setting in the Burmese community. Do you know of any monasteries or centers who would be interested in receiving them?”
