Welcome to the Northwest Dharma Association.

We are a grassroots regional association of Buddhist temples, centers, and practice groups in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, British Columbia, and Alaska. Your group becomes an Association member by participating in our activities and providing mutual support to NWDA and to other Buddhist groups. 

If you are a Buddhist group in Alaska, British Columbia, Idaho, Montana, or Washington, you may apply for group membership by sending an email to info@northwestdharma.org that includes:

• Your name
• Your group’s name
• Your group’s tradition, lineage, teacher, etc 
• Your group’s location(s) in AK, ID, MT, OR, WA, or BC
• The email address that will be your group’s account log-in

We’ll notify you by email once your group membership is approved. Then you can edit your listing in the NWDA directory, and you can post your events in the NWDA calendar.

Editing your listing in the group directory

1. Find your group’s listing in the directory. 
2. Enter your username and password. 
3. If you don’t know it, ask for a new password to be sent to you. It will be sent to the email address in the profile.
4. Once you’re logged in, click Your Directory Listing.
5. Underneath your group name, click the Edit option. 
6. Edit any of the information you want. 
7. When you’re done editing, be sure to click the blue Update button at the top of the profile. 

Posting your events in the calendar

1. Go to our homepage https://northwestdharma.org/
2. Click the Groups tab
3. Click Group Login
4. Enter your username and password
5. Click Your Events
6. Click Add New Event
7. Fill in at least the fields that have a red asterisk.
8. Scroll back up to the top and click Submit for Review.
9. You can log back in and edit it any time. 

What will membership cost our group?

Membership is open to any Buddhist temple, center, and practice group in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, British Columbia, and Alaska.

The more you list your events, the more you participate in events with other groups, the more your membership will benefit your group and others. 

The Northwest Dharma Association welcomes donations of any size to help us cover our expenses. You can donate at any time on our website. If you are donating on behalf of a group, note that in the donation form. You can make your donation a one-time donation, or make a recurring donation that repeats monthly or annually.

Your generosity helps NWDA support Buddhist teachings and community across the region.
