April 20 Gathering of Buddhist Teachers and Leaders

Regional Buddhist Teachers and Leaders Gathering

April 20, 2024

10am to 4pm

Sponsored by the Northwest Dharma Association

Hosted by Kagyu Changchub Chuling
4936 NE Skidmore Street, Portland, Oregon 97218

Buddhist teachers, monastics, and group leaders from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and British Columbia have been gathering for more than 15 years at Northwest Dharma Association’s regional meetings.

These gatherings are an opportunity for Northwest Buddhist teachers and leaders to meet and get to know one another, to share their interests and concerns, and to plan multi-organization events together.

Outcomes from past gatherings have been friendships, co-teaching events, mutual aid, and even real estate transactions that enabled Buddhist groups to acquire their temple.

The topics will be decided by those who participate, and the conversations will be facilitated by NWDA volunteers. There will be time for small group discussions. Lunch will be provided.

Buddhist teachers, monastics, and group leaders from Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Alaska, and British Columbia can register to participate in the next gathering on April 20 in Portland simply by sending an email to George Draffan.

The Northwest Dharma Association supports Buddhist teachings and community across the region. This is one of the way we do that. We warmly invite you to join us on APril 20 in Portland.

May our practice and work together be of benefit to all beings!
