Prayer to Be Reborn in the Land of Bliss

Geshe Yeshe Thabkhe is a deeply respected Tibetan scholar, among the few remaining monastics trained in Tibet. At 98, his teachings are still vigorous and penetrating. We are so happy to welcome him to teach Lama Tsongkhapa’s “Prayer to Be Reborn in the Land of Bliss,” in the Buddha Hall.

The text is a beautiful aspirational prayer to have perfect conditions for practice and also gives detailed guidance for practicing the three principal aspects of the path—ethical conduct, bodhicitta, and wisdom—lifetime after lifetime to attain full awakening.
