Cultivating Compassion
The theme of this Day of Mindfulness will be Cultivating Compassion. It will be led and offered by the Cherry Blossom Sangha, a young adults (ages 18 – 40) Wake Up sangha in the Plum Village tradition that meets at Dharma Gate.
We will practice sitting, walking, eating, resting, singing and being together in mindfulness. It is a day of pause, a day of rest, and a day to come back home to ourselves and our breath.
There will be a potluck for lunch. Feel free to bring something to share, preferably vegetarian/ vegan. And no worries if not, as there will be plenty of food to go around. Most importantly, know that just bringing yourself is enough.
Parking is available in the diagonal slots on 25th Ave. at the Light House for the Blind on the corner of Plum and 25th street.
RSVP if you will attend virtually or in-person to a Day of Mindfulness by sending an email to dom@mindfulnesspugetsound.org .
