Bainbridge Bodhi Center
Description
The Bodhi Center is located on nearly five acres a short walk from Gazzam Lake nature preserve on Bainbridge Island. The Center and the surrounding land offer the quiet and privacy conducive to personal growth and well being.
We have a weekly peer-led Vipassana sit Mondays at 7 pm, Soto Zen sits led by Mark Johnson, a zen priest in the lineage of Suzuki Roshi, on Wednesday mornings; Refuge Recovery, a Buddhist approach to healing from addictions meets on Tuesdays at 7 p.m. We offer a beginning mindfulness meditation class quarterly and host frequent half-day and daylong retreats with both local and visiting teachers.
