AiShinKai

Description

AiShinKai Fudō Myōō-Ji is both a Buddhist shrine and a martial arts organization devoted to “a life worth living.” Since 1990 we have engaged in Japanese martial and cultural arts order to discover what it means to be fully human: what is the full potential of our body, of our mind, and of our spirit? We study Rinzai, Shingon, and Aikido-based Ki meditation and breathing, mind-body coordination, calm self-confidence, and the ability to express excellence and leadership in daily life. Our training is suitable for everyone regardless of size, age, or gender: gentle, aerobic training in traditional Japanese martial arts – swordsmanship, grappling, and archery – and traditional cultural arts – calligraphy, flower arranging, and tree-potting. Learn how to create personal and social harmony in a cooperative and supportive community where men, women, and youth train together with sincerity, joy, and gentleness.
