Vajrakilaya Torma Empowerment and Teachings 普巴金剛托瑪灌頂與教學

“Of the profound and inexhaustible ocean of teachings possessed by Guru Padmasambhava, Vajrakilaya is among the most important. Its empowerment, teachings, and pith instructions were bestowed upon one of his foremost spiritual disciples, Khön Nagendra Rakshita (Lü’i Wangpo Sungwa), who practised them until he attained both ordinary and supreme siddhis. As a sign of his great realization, he manifested the extraordinary miracle of suspending his vajra and bell in midair. Guru Padmasambhava himself proclaimed that Nagendra Rakshita had reached the eighth stage of the bodhisattva path.”

His Holiness received this empowerment and teaching from his father and another important root guru, through an unbroken lineage descending from the time of Nagendra Rakshita. Both of these lineage holders attained profound realization and manifested numerous miraculous signs.
