We are excited to share that this fall, Venerable Lama Tashi will be teaching a Tibetan Language Class! This class will be held on Sundays at 4:30 pm, in-person at the Monastery from September 17th – December 17th.

First, we will learn to pronounce and write the Tibetan alphabet. Then we will learn how to read and write the syllables of Tibetan. Reading is mastered by learning the Tibetan method of spelling syllables. We will complete your ability to read Tibetan by learning to identify and pronounce contractions, which are common in Tibetan. This Tibetan language series will span over 14 classes.
Please bring your own notebook and writing utensil. Handouts will be provided by the instructor.
