Therapeutic Presence has been shown to be a potent indicator of success in therapy, yet it is often overlooked in clinical training.
This workshop introduces participants to Reflective Meditation, an innovative meditation process that naturally develops Presence, bringing gentle awareness to our experiences. By honing this reflective process, participants can enhance their ability to be present with themselves and their clients, ultimately increasing ethical awareness and resilience.
Becoming more aware of our experience through meditation ultimately highlights several human existential “givens”. In Buddhism, these “givens” are called the Marks of Existence. This workshop provides a deeper understanding of how these three Marks can create more capacity to approach our difficulties, and those of our clients, with greater insight, balance, and ethical intelligence.
