Green Tara Retreat

A hybrid retreat inviting students to embrace the wisdom and compassion of Green Tara, guided by Jetsunma Jamyang Palmo.

Retreat Details 

• Teacher: Jetsunma Jamyang Yeshe Palmo 
  
• Dates: October 15 – October 18, 2026.
• Arrivals & Departures: Students arrive between 2:30-5:00 pm on October 15 and depart the morning of October 19 after a full day of programming on October 18. If driving themselves, students may choose to depart after the closing session on October 18, ending around 4:30 pm.
  • A note on Shuttles to and from the Bodhi House:
    • Arrival Shuttles- The final arrival shuttle to the Bodhi House departs from MSO at 3 pm on October 15. Please arrive at the Missoula Airport by 2:30 p.m. at the latest to ensure you can make the 3:00 p.m. departure for Bodhi House.
    • Departure Shuttles- Shuttles will depart on October 19 around 9:00 a.m.
• In-Person Location: Namchak Retreat Ranch in Hot Springs, Montana
• Format: Hybrid (Online and In-Person at the Namchak Retreat Ranch)
• Food: Vegetarian

About this Retreat

Green Tara, the “Mother of All Buddhas,” offers boundless support in overcoming fear, dissolving inner and outer obstacles, and awakening the courageous heart. Throughout this weekend, Jetsunma will lead participants through the essential practice of Green Tara, from the practice composed by Pegyal Lingpa (a close teacher of Tulku Sangak Rinpoche.)

Led by Jetsunma Jamyang Palmo, whose teachings bridge ancient wisdom with modern relevance, this retreat is both a spiritual refuge and a call to compassionate action. Whether you are new to Buddhist practice or seeking to deepen an existing connection, this weekend offers a rare opportunity to engage directly with Tara’s transformative presence in a container of peace, beauty, and guidance.
