The Caring By Sharing Big Winter Event with the Marici Fellowship is coming up!
On Friday, December 15th from 6:30 pm – 9:00 pm, volunteers with meet at Sakya Monastery to sort and pack much needed items (like warm-weather gear) for distribution to under-housed and houseless communities.
Then on Saturday, December 16th from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm, volunteers will meet at the Monastery and depart in small groups to distribute items around the city including areas such as shelters, tiny villages, tent encampments, food banks etc. Exact locations will be provided closer to event.

Since 2017, The Marici Fellowship, under the guidance of H.E. Avikrita Vajra Rinpoche, has held “Sharing by Caring” big events. These events provide care and needed items to house-less and under-housed communities, and they bring us together to reconnect, make new friends, and put our COMPASSION INTO ACTION!
PLEASE NOTE : EVERYONE IS WELCOME! There are various activities depending on personal abilities and comfort levels.
