Tibetan Medical Approaches to Care in the Dying Process

Dr. Nashalla Gwyn Nyinda, Menpa TMD MA Acu LMT
will lead us toward a deeper understanding of
what takes place in the body, channels, and mind
during the dying process. This knowledge
will benefit families, loved ones, friends,
and caregivers, as well as those in transition. 

Dr. Nashalla began the study of Tibetan Medicine in 1999 and treated patients with permission starting in 2004. Encouraged by her root teacher, Very Venerable Thrangu Rinpoche, she continued her Tibetan medical studies at the Chagpori Institute Clinic, India. Among other educational institutions, she studied at Qinghai Tibetan Medical College, Tibet, The Shang Shung Institute of Tibetan Medicine, Naropa University, and The Institute of Taoist Education and Acupuncture. Dr. Nashalla is an Adjunct Professor at Naropa University and teaches healing techniques worldwide. She also teaches Buddhism at the Rocky Mountain Thrangu Center, and is the Director of the Nyinda Clinic of Tibetan Medicine & Holistic Healing in Boulder, Colorado.
