Description
Myoko-in Temple is an Independant Jodo Shinshu Buddhist Temple directly affiliated with the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha Located in Kyoto, Japan. Myoko-in Temple is also associated with the European Jodo Shinshu Community via Jikoji Temple in Antwerp, Belgium and the late Rev. Shitoku Peele.
Rev. Diane Jishin Dunn was ordained in Kyoto, Japan at the Jodo Shinshu Hongwanji-ha in 2003 and has served as the Residence Priest at the White Lotus Center of Anchorage, Alaska and now permanently located in Deer Island, Oregon with Myoko-in Temple.
Services are held on the 1st and 3rd Sunday’s of each month from 2:o0-3:30pm.
Quiet reflection/meditation/evening vespers are held weekly on Wednesdays at 7:30pm.

Practice Schedule
1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 2:00-3:30pm. Quiet sitting (seiza), Sutra chanting, Dharma talk. Tea and light refreshments.
Wednesdays, 7:30-8:30pm. Meditation and Buddhist Vespers. 15 minutes of quiet sitting (seiza), 15 minutes of mindful walking, 15 minutes of quiet sitting, chanting and recitation of the Metta Sutta.
