Saturday, November 23 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm

Looking for something to inspire your daily spiritual practice? Join Buddhist nun and author Venerable Thubten Chodron as she shares from her newest book, Awaken Every Day: 365 Buddhist Reflections to Invite Mindfulness and Joy, which offers a quick daily dose of everyday wisdom ideal for creating moments of peace and reflection in our chaotic world.  Copies of Venerable’s books will be on sale at the event, with Venerable available to sign your copy immediately following the topic.

Ven. Chodron teaches worldwide and is known for her warm, practical, and humorous explanations of how to apply Buddhist teachings in daily life. She is also involved in prison outreach and interfaith dialogue. She has published many books on Buddhist philosophy and meditation, and is currently co-authoring with His Holiness the Dalai Lama a multi-volume series of teachings on the Buddhist path, The Library of Wisdom and Compassion. The fourth volume, Following in the Buddha’s Footsteps, will be published in October 2019.
