Join us at Sakya Monastery for

What is it like to be a Hospice Volunteer?”

presented by

Evergreen Health Hospice Care

November 19, 2018, 7 – 8:30pm

at Sakya Monastery, 108 NW 83rd St., Seattle, WA 98117

We will explore what makes being a hospice volunteer such a wonderful and compassionate way to help a fellow human being and the families who love them, as well as the profound changes one can experience in one’s own life.

Other topics include:

  • What kind of training is needed to be a hospice volunteer
  • How do we know if this is something we can do?
  • How animals and energy work are being used to comfort hospice patients

The event is free; donations accepted. Tea and snacks will be provided.

The Marici Fellowship speaker series helps shine the light on daily struggles and problems faced in our society today, with the goal of bringing us together, building awareness and finding solutions.
