Jhado Rinpoche was born in 1954 near Namtso Lake in Tibet. At the age of three he was recognized and enthroned as the 6th incarnation of the abbot of Jhado Monastery. For over 50 years, he has practiced as a monk, receiving many teachings from some of the greatest living masters of Tibetan Buddhism, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama.
