Jhado Rinpoche – Medicine Buddha blessing empowerment

Sunday, October 14 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Medicine Buddha represents the archetypal energy and awareness of healing and medicine. It is also a pathway for cultivating our own enlightened potential. Receiving the blessings of a teacher in an empowerment ceremony can be a powerful catalyst for one’s meditation practice and transformation.     Venue: 2109 31st Ave. S., Seattle 98144. Space limited. Please pre-register and arrive early to insure a seat.

Jhado Rinpoche was born in 1954 near Namtso Lake in Tibet. At the age of three he was recognized and enthroned as the 6th incarnation of the abbot of Jhado Monastery. For over 50 years, he has practiced as a monk, receiving many teachings from some of the greatest living masters of Tibetan Buddhism, including His Holiness the Dalai Lama. He is the former abbot of Namgyal Monastery, the personal monastery of His Holiness the Dalai Lama.

There is no charge to attend. The expense budget for this three day visit is approximately $1600. A detailed budget is available by email. An opportunity to support these teachings financially will be available at the event, or you can donate directly on our website at dharmafriendship.org/donate.
