“Buddhism, Ecology, Community”

Saturday, April 20 @ 9:30 am - 4:30 pm

What is an Ecosangha?

On April 20th, the Seattle Betsuin Buddhist Temple will be hosting an event where people can gather, discuss and learn about what an Ecosangha is and how we can all learn to be more conscious as Buddhists and people.

Dr. Duncan Williams, Dr. Jason Wirth and Reverend Don Castro will be attending and speaking at this event to share their thoughts and wisdom on Buddhism and ecology. The seminar will start at 9:30 in the morning and will open with a small service. The day will end with a discussion mediated by the NWDA’s own George Draffan. A light lunch will also be provided during the day and will be included in the cost of registration.

General Registration $25

Student Registration $15

Online registration can be found here or you can download a hard copy through the temple’s website and turn it into the temple office with cash or a check made out to the Seattle Betsuin Buddhist Temple.
