What is the obstacle to being completely free and at ease? In our human life we can find ourselves falling into the same traps over and over. What is going on in these situations and how do we get knocked off balance? Why do our strategies for well-being seem to sometimes backfire? Through practice and reflection, we will explore the topic of taking the bait, one of the metaphors that Buddha used in his teachings of liberation. We will learn about craving, gratification, freedom, and illusion. The weekend will include mindfulness instruction in sitting meditation, walking meditation, eating meditation and time for Q & A.
