In 2016, NWDA focused its work on three new programs:
- Contemplative Caregiving
- Inclusive Communities
- Buddhist Recovery
These programs apply Buddhist compassion and clarity where it counts — in real-life suffering in today’s world. In 2017, we will be exploring new and innovative ways of expanding our program reach throughout the region.
To learn more about our programs, please visit our website.
But…we need your help! We need $15,000 in the next 100 days to achieve our goals.
Please donate to the 2017 Spring Fund Drive.
All of our funding comes from you! — the Dharma groups and individual followers of the Buddha throughout the region. Please become a Member by donating any amount.
You can become a Sponsor Member of NWDA by choosing to make a monthly recurring donation of any size that works for you. You can also donate in behalf of your sangha.
Our current Sponsor Members provide 10% of our budget. Our goal this year is to increase that to 50% of our budget.
In order to do that, we need 100 of you to pledge $9/month.
If you can’t support us financially at this time, please firstname.lastname@example.org to explore out how you might help us as a volunteer.
Together we are practicing the Buddha Way, cultivating spiritual friendships, creating inclusive communities, and benefitting beings.
Yours in the Dharma,
Tim Tapping, President of the Board
George Draffan, Executive Director
