Samden Ling
Description
Samden Ling was founded in 2000 by Ad*zom Paylo. Rinpoche to bring the teachings of wisdom awakening and compassion to all whom are interested. The lineage of The Longchen Nyingthig, Heart Essence of the Vast Expanse reaches back to Tibetan Meditation Masters Padmasambhava, Yeshe Tsogyal, Longchen Rabjam and Jigme Lingpa. Samden Ling hosts visiting teachers of the Longchen Nyingthig Lineage. Resident teacher, Jacqueline Mandell teaches the Foundational Practices of Longchen Nyingthig, called Ngndro, and Sublime Green Tara. For those who have received the transmission from Ad.zom Rinpoche, further practices such as Vajrakilaya , are included at different times. These practices bring forth The Mind of Enlightenment and Ultimate Bodhicitta. Bodhicitta emanates the qualities of kindness, wisdom, compassion, equanimity, loving joy and empathy. Samden Ling translates as A Sanctuary of Meditative Contemplation. All interested are welcome to participate.
